Ballantrae Well No. 3

The project consisted of the construction of a new well pump house and watermain to supply the water
distribution system in the community of Ballantrae.
Details of the work included an architectural masonry building to blend into the adjacent estate subdivision, a deep well vertical turbine pump, well head, associated 150mm stainless steel process piping, isolation, check and control valves, sodium silicate storage, mixing and feed system including a cast-in-place tank, gas chlorination system complete with booster pumps and piping, emergency gas scrubber including fiberglass ductwork and exhaust stack, motor control centre, VFD, automatic transfer switch, 180 kW emergency diesel generator, fuel storage and supply system, exhaust system, instrumentation and controls, SCADA including integration into the existing SCADA system, radio communications system, building heating and ventilation system, 300m of 200mm watermain to connect to distribution system, 1800mm CPP chlorine contact tank, valve chamber and swab launch station, restoration and landscaping.
H2Ontario self performed the process mechanical and portions of site work.
